Brian F. Coulter Memorial Scholarship

Brian Coulter grew up loving soccer. It was a passion second only to his love for his family.

Brian spent many years coaching from youth level to high school, CYSA District and State ODP, CSU Fresno and Fresno City College. He was considered a premier goalkeeper coach and made it possible for many of his players to receive scholarships to colleges throughout the United States. Brian not only taught his players soccer, but also taught them life lessons and was so proud to see them grow into kind and caring adults. He was honored to be part of the coaching team at the Team First Soccer Academy in Fresno in 2014.

In September 2016, Brian was diagnosed with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s Disease. It robbed him of his ability to coach, but not of his love of the game.

The family of Brian F. Coulter has created this scholarship to honor him and help him continue to help others fulfill their dream of working with world class coaches in this wonderful sport.
